This month, 3L Alliance have warmly welcomed Shio by Fuumi Fuumi to the Queens Place retail precinct.
Occupying 45sqm of prime retail space on the ground floor of its’ piazza, this exciting new offering will deliver matchas by morning and soon, cocktails by night.
As with each new retail tenant that joins the vibrant Queens Plaza precinct, Shio brings a unique eastern influenced offering that switches up the regular café menu.
Baking daily, Shio employs a dedicated team experienced in the art of making Shiopan – Japanese butter rolls popular for their salted light crust on the outside, fluffy centre, and crunchy “butter-fried” base.
Shio have enjoyed a busy start to trade with their diverse menu, which offers breakfast pastries with barista made coffee and transitions to made-to-order sandwiches for lunch.
Manager, Max Chen has been part of a team that has selected Queens Place as the operation’s first Melbourne store.
“ Queens Place has provided us with an exciting opportunity to bring Shiopan to Melbourne’s CBD – we believe the high foot traffic and profile of customers will embrace our diverse menu.
Our new home provides us with the open space and piazza seating for grab and go customers, and a cosy space for breakfast, lunch and soon – an evening cocktail and a bite to eat”.
Shio is now open for trade 7 days a week from early morning until 3pm, with plans to open for dinner over coming months.
The Queens Place retail precinct now houses over 4583sqm of mixed-use retail, which is 80% occupancy rate.
